How your project actually runs.
Most agency process is theatre designed to justify retainers: 60-page research decks, four layers of account managers, and junior designers guessing at your product. We don't do big reveals. You get a named senior team, a shared Slack channel, and working code in your hands by week two.

Why typical agency process fails founders.
We stripped away the agency fluff. Four simple rules keep the work fast, calm, and honest.
Real previews beat presentation decks
Keynote slides can make any bad idea look clever. Real screens with real copy and live interactions tell the truth immediately.
We design in Figma components and push to live Next.js preview environments from week one. If a headline feels flat or an interaction feels awkward on your phone, we catch it in week two, not on launch day.
The people who pitch the work do the work
Big agencies send their best partners to win the deal, then hand your project to juniors who've never built a technical product.
At Elysium, you work directly with a senior designer and senior front-end engineer with 8+ years shipping AI, security, and developer tools. No account executives, no telephone game.
If a buyer can't get it in five seconds, the design failed
A lot of tech startups look like a spaceship landed on a museum: dark gradients, floating 3D glass, and zero clarity on what the product actually does.
We treat visual design as the partner of clear positioning. We cut the jargon, clarify your technical edge, and make sure buyers understand why you matter before they scroll.
Fixed scope, fixed dates, open books
Uncertainty kills momentum. 'Time and materials' billing gives vendors a quiet incentive to move slowly and invent extra work.
Every sprint is budgeted on published senior days at $1,200/day. We commit to a calendar ship date before kick-off, backed by a 5% per week delay penalty if we miss it.
From positioning to live code in 8–10 weeks.
Every phase ends in a formal milestone gate and working artifacts. You are never asked to approve static mockups blind, and you never wait for a big reveal.
Finding the Clear Story
Before touching Figma, we figure out what buyers are actually confused about.
Ensure your brand, website, and product UI tell one cohesive story that technical buyers understand in five seconds.
What Happens Inside The Sprint
- 01
90-minute kick-off with your founders and engineers: what you built, who buys it, and why deals stall.
- 02
The 5-second test: we show your current site to 50 targeted buyers for 5 seconds and ask what you do. The answers show where people get lost.
- 03
Killing the category jargon: cataloging the lazy buzzwords everyone else uses so you stand out immediately.
- 04
Page-by-page content blueprint: writing the core narrative and mapping the user flow before designing screens.
Sign-off on the written narrative and page structure before anyone starts drawing screens.
Tangible Deliverables

- Information Architecture MapStructure
- Two Visual Direction BoardsAesthetics
One kick-off call, access to your existing docs, and a decisive founder who can approve the written story.
How we actually communicate day to day.
No email chains, no layers of middle management. We integrate directly into your team’s existing tools with predictable, asynchronous rhythms.
Shared Slack Channel
You get a direct channel with your Lead Designer and Lead Engineer. Ask a question, get an answer within hours from the person who actually wrote the code.
Weekly 45-Min Sync
We don't waste your week on endless status meetings. One concise weekly sync to review working prototypes, answer questions, and lock next week's sprint.
Live Staging Link
No waiting in the dark for a 'big reveal' six weeks in. Every pull request updates a preview link you can open on your own phone.
Two-Round Review Protocol
We walk you through changes in short Loom videos. You leave feedback directly in Figma. Two structured rounds keep the project on date without endless email chains.
How Elysium compares to the alternatives.
An honest look at big agencies, freelance marketplaces, and our senior studio model across what actually matters to a founder.
| What matters | Big Agency | Freelancers | Elysium Designs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who actually builds the work | Junior designers supervised by account managers | Single generalist; gaps in brand or front-end code | Senior designer + senior engineer with 8+ years experience |
| When you see real code | 8 to 12 weeks of slides and moodboards | Starts late, often built on brittle templates | Real staging link in your hands by week two |
| Pricing clarity | Vague estimates, hidden billable hours, change orders | Hourly billing that creeps up each invoice | Fixed price based on a published $1,200/day senior rate |
| What happens if they're late | Nothing; you pay for their delays | Ghosting or half-finished code | 5% off the invoice for every week we're overdue |
| Outcome accountability | 'Brand awareness' metrics nobody can verify | 'Delivered as requested', no guarantee on results | 50-buyer test; we revise free if they don't get it |
| Handover & ownership | Proprietary templates or messy handoff packages | Missing font files or undocumented code | 100% IP ownership, clean Next.js, full Figma system |
What we put in writing so the risk isn’t all yours.
Real commitments in the contract, not just marketing copy. We back our dates, comprehension, and handover with our own money.
The First-Glance Guarantee
Before we design, we test your existing site on 50 people matching your buyer profile. We run the test again on the new site. If comprehension doesn't beat the baseline, we keep revising free until it does.
The Ship Date Financial Lock
We agree on a calendar launch date before work begins. If a delay is on our side, you get 5% off the final invoice for every week we're late, up to 25%. We put our own money on the line.
100% IP & Source Ownership
You own every file, line of TypeScript, design token, 3D asset, and Figma component the instant the final invoice clears. No licensing traps, no proprietary CMS lock-in.
30-Day Post-Launch Warranty
We don't disappear after the domain goes live. Every project includes 30 days of proactive warranty support for tweaks, edge-case fixes, and team onboarding at zero extra cost.
Questions founders ask
23~26©
How much time is required from our team each week?
Around 2 to 3 hours total: one 45-minute weekly sync, plus reviewing staging links and providing consolidated feedback inside our two structured review rounds.
We do the heavy lifting on research, copy, architecture, and code so your executive team can stay focused on building the product.
How do you handle scope changes mid-project?
Because our pricing is based on a published daily rate ($1,200/senior day), scope changes are straightforward. If you want to add an extra flow or motion piece, we price the senior days required in writing.
Work on additions only begins after you approve the written scope and adjusted ship date.
Can we start before our seed or Series A round closes?
Yes, through our raise-later payment schedule: pay 50% at kick-off, with the balance invoiced 30 days after your funding round closes (or 6 months after kick-off).
There is zero equity taken, no interest, and nothing added to your cap table.
What if our internal engineering team wants to build the front-end?
We love collaborating with internal engineering teams. We can deliver production-ready Figma design systems, annotated token specs, and interactive motion components.
We also offer paired front-end sprints where our senior engineers build the layout and component shell while your team hooks up backend APIs.
