01 · Challenge

Every competitor in enterprise AI sells the novelty of talking to a machine. Parloa needed a brand that would outlast the novelty and still put people first.

02 · Approach

We moved the story from the technology to what it enables, relationships that deepen over time, and built a system of overlapping lenses, a new mark and a display face that un-blurs.

03 · Outcome

A brand that works across campaign, product and people, shown in full for the first time at Parloa's WAVE conference in Berlin in September 2025.

01The challenge

When the technology is the same for everyone, the brand is the only thing left to make a company memorable.

The application layer is catching fire

The foundations of generative AI have moved quickly, and the infrastructure underneath is strong. Now the application layer is catching fire, as companies race to turn that infrastructure into value for enterprises. Parloa is one of them. It builds the tools enterprises use to deploy AI agents that handle complex customer conversations.

In a category this fast, how do you build a brand that lasts? And how do you keep humanity at the centre of the story when AI is the star of it? Most competitors answer with the novelty of natural language, ease and integration. Parloa asked for something more durable.

02Strategy

From what the technology does to what it makes possible

We shifted the focus from the technology to its result: meaningful relationships between companies and their customers that deepen over time. It turns an automation story into a trust story, which is what an enterprise buyer is really purchasing.

Brand idea

Empathy as an interface.

03Identity

Lenses for memory, emotion and meaning

The core of the identity is a set of overlapping ellipses: lenses through which memory, emotion and meaning converge. In monochrome they become a data layer for technical diagramming. In motion or gradient, the same geometry opens into a bright, emotive space that frames the content that matters.

Parloa's old speech-bubble logo no longer matched its ambition. The new mark comes from the overlapping lenses and suggests emotional depth and mutual understanding. It was refined over hundreds of iterations to carry weight as a static mark, energy in motion and a quiet nod to the letter P.

A typeface that un-blurs

For display type we chose Exposure by 205TF: its name nods to light, and its letterforms seem to come into focus, as if surfacing from memory. The system balances precision with humanity, so Parloa can talk about technical detail and still sound like it cares.

04Campaign

Built to be switched on at once

The system was designed so Parloa's teams could launch strong, evocative campaigns straight away. In a market this competitive, awareness in the right cities, presence with high-value audiences and being first all mattered, so the toolkit favours bold, simple, repeatable layouts.

05Product

The system, applied to every interface

We carried the brand into the digital interfaces, with a focus on the website, product marketing modules and the Agent Management Platform. Workshops with product leads shaped how the agent lifecycle (design, test, scale, optimise) should look and feel, and a secondary pattern system gives each agent its own character.

WAVE: the first full expression

A brand like this has three audiences inside and out: the thinkers who define the company's edge, the employees shaping the frontier of AI interaction, and the customers and talent who need proof of ambition. It should show innovation in how it looks, speaks and moves.

WAVE is Parloa's annual conference. In September 2025 it became the first full expression of the new brand, held in a former iron factory in Berlin that was turned into a distinctly Parloa experience. It showed the technology working and how the identity extends across campaign and product.
