01 · Challenge

Vicarius had validated demand for AI-assisted security analysis, but reports lived in one tool and AI chat in another, so security teams had to connect the findings by hand.

02 · Approach

We designed and built one MVP for security data, analytics, AI investigation and remediation, where the AI explains and suggests and people review and approve.

03 · Outcome

With vIntelligence, security teams understand a risk, decide what needs attention and track the fix from first finding to remediation in one place.

01The challenge

A long list of security issues is hard to act on. The product's job was to turn it into a short list of next steps.

Bring reports and AI analysis into one product

Vicarius helps businesses find and resolve security risks. Customers wanted AI-assisted analysis, but reports lived in one tool and AI chat in another. Analysts copied findings between them and rebuilt the context each time, which is slow work in a field where speed matters.

We built vIntelligence to bring security data, analytics, AI-assisted investigation and workflows for applying fixes into one product, so users have a direct path from spotting a risk to understanding it and deciding what to do.

02Strategy

Built around how analysts actually work

Vicarius brought the security expertise. We turned it into a working product, from the user experience to the software and AI connections behind it, and worked through real scenarios with their team so the product fits how analysts investigate issues and review fixes.

In security, an AI that acts without being asked is a liability. So the design principle is simple: the AI explains and suggests, and a person makes the final call.

Product idea

AI supports the decision. People make the call.

  • Outcome 01

    Reports and answers together

No switching tools to understand a finding.

  • Outcome 02

    Clearer priorities

Recommendations based on the team's own security data.

  • Outcome 03

    Fix connected to action

Recommendations link to the tools that carry out the fix, and people review first.

03Reports

See the bigger picture, then the detail behind each risk

We built a clear overview that lets teams take in the whole picture, then open the detail behind a risk: assets by risk level, severity distribution, vulnerabilities by product.

Executive reporting: counts for findings, a severity bar and a CVE trend chart
Risk assessment: OS distribution donut, assets by risk level and a score of 8 out of 100

04AI investigation

An assistant that works from the company's own data

The AI assistant explains findings and suggests priorities using the company's security data. Teams can ask follow-up questions alongside their reports, instead of copying data into a separate chat.

05Remediation

Fixes people review, approve and follow

We connected AI recommendations to vRx, Vicarius's tool for applying security fixes. Teams review a proposed action, approve it and follow its progress: what is running, what worked and what needs attention. The record of who approved what and when is part of the product, not an afterthought.
